Boulder apartment complexes sell for combined $95.6 million

Two Boulder apartments sold for approximately $95.6 million combined, according to Boulder County public records.
They were both purchased by companies registered to the same address as Chicago-based Equity Office, which did not immediately respond to comment.
The Province Boulder, a student-living complex at 950 28th St., sold for $53 million. It last sold in 2015 for $48.8 million. The Lotus, also a student-living complex, is located at 900 28th St. and sold for $42.6 million. It last sold in 2011 for $6 million.
Both were sold by Province Boulder Co LLC, registered to the same address as Memphis-based EdR, a real estate investment trust focused on collegiate housing. According to its website, its now part of Charleston, South Carolina-based Greystar.
The Province Boulder has 259 units and The Lotus has 242 units, according to Boulder County public records.
According to its website, Equity Office owns five office properties in the metro.
